Because I love numbers (and some of you do too). Here's a quick look at the 2015 Grand Prix Final in stats. It's quite the decorated field this week in Barcelona. There are four Olympic medalists

Mao Asada is the most decorated in terms of Grand Prix medals. She's also the longest-competing skater in the field, with her first Grand Prix appearance TEN seasons ago! Similarly, Yuko Kavaguti/Alexander Smirnov, Patrick Chan, Ashley Wagner, Kaitlyn Weaver/Andrew Poje, and Anna Cappellini/Luca Lanotte have been winning GP medals since the late 2000s.

Asada, incidentally have as many Grand Prix gold medals (15) as all six of dance teams this week do. She also has almost as many GP medals (23) as the rest of her competitors in the ladies event do (24).

Overall, the six dance teams have amassed the highest number of Grand Prix medals (59) of the four disciplines, followed by the six ladies (57), seven pairs (48), and six men (45).
